Nestled in the heart of Long Lake near Traverse City, Michigan is the Long Lake Peninsula. A former island and collection of hunting camps, the Long Lake Peninsula Association has been in existence for over 40 years, and, as a private community, owns and maintains all roads and recreational areas.
The LLPA is a diverse group of permanent dwellers (62%) and second home owners (38%). Recreational resources include a park, and member beach with boat launch. Please spend some time looking at our site. We have provided several resources for you if you are considering moving to the Peninsula or building on it. We strongly encourage you to contact a board member with questions about living on the Peninsula.
