The Long Lake Peninsula has two major amenity features:
- The Robert E Doerr Park – A several acre park with a baseball diamond, a picnic shelter with seating for 25, a sand volleyball court, basketball goals and a playground.
- Shared Access boat launch and beach – You can gain access to Long Lake from the locked boat launch (accommodating most boats to 24 feet) and enjoy the afternoon at the community beach (100 feet of sand, deck and benches). The area also includes a floating pontoon raft and a 25 foot deck alongside the launch. The boat ramp and beach area are available to members and household guests.
- Peninsula Activities –There are several ways each year to have fun with your neighbors. An annual “Fun Run,” a park camp-out for kids, and just saying “hi” to people as you walk around the quiet streets in the evening.
